Construction of office maintenance building/salt shed. This project was originally bid as a lump sum project, however due to the design needs, it quickly transitioned into a Construction Management with design. This allowed the design team to change the structural load, exterior features and structural steel which enabled us to build a more user-friendly facility for the Town. Careno coordinated with the Town Officials on the interior equipment and tool set up giving a more efficient use of the space. Coordination with management of the Pease Trade Port and FCC was also crucial as the jobsite was located next to the airport’s runway. The Town was able to use the site during construction for heavy equipment and salt storage.
