Scope of Work consisted of demolition to remove asbestos paneling, sheathing, metal and wood framing. New composite insulated metal panels were installed over new wood framing and structural sheathing. All trim was wrapped in heavy aluminum and exposed beams/wood were painted. All work had to be scaffolded, some areas over 80+ feet.
Demolition of three existing greenhouses and installation of a new 84’ wide by 96’ long greenhouse with 8 individual rooms inside the main building. Each room to be equipped with grow lights and individual temperature controls for research on various plants. Project includes new generator, updated electrical service, and remodel of existing head house corridor.
Scope of Work included converting a 3,500 sq. ft. space into a biology research laboratory and educational space including process and gas piping, HVAC systems, exhaust hoods, lab casework and epoxy resin coated counters, electrical systems and finishes. Work also included upgrades to adjacent laboratories and classrooms.

Major life safety upgrades to the home of UNH indoor sports complex! CarenoConstruction, as general contractor, oversaw the installation of a new state-of-the-art fire alarm/life safety system and all associated components associated. Other trades included painting, ceiling systems, electrical and wall systems. This is a massive building!
